Sheep and Woolly Resources

A collection of links:

• The site is dedicated to my favourite popup book about Sheep and Wool. It is by Richard Powell and Steve Cox, called "Baa!" and you really should buy it here, it has a cute woolly cover and plenty of sheep inside!

• Fuzzyduck has some odd Sheep Theories. Us experts know which are right, and which are wrong but we can't spoil it and tell him.

• Maybe if I advertise them here, they will give me a free pully when I finally get to visit them at A & E Knitwear in the Falkland Islands.

  I doubt they are subject to the British Wool Marketing Board over there - Did you know that anyone with more than 4 sheep is required by law to sell the wool to this lot? This week (Nov 2002) there was a BBC report that farmers are just burning their wool now because they lose so much money in shipping it to them and end up out of pocket. Amazing.

• A rather strangely obsessive page. This chap is probably Welsh.

• For some reason Channel 5 featured this Sweater Page but didn't feature us at all. How common!

• Although he didn't win our sheep photographer of the year award, Andrew Linscott has some sweet sheep pictures on his site.
